A husband-and-wife studio teaching piano, violin and theory in Singapore for over a decade.
Patient, classically-trained instruction for children from age three through to adults of any age.
We are Ms Tan Dihui and Mr Ng Wei Ping β pianist and violinist, married, and the two teachers behind this studio. Together we've spent more than a decade welcoming children, teenagers and adults into the world of classical music.
We don't just teach instruments. We help students develop good technique, sound practice habits, and β most importantly β a deep, lasting love for music that stays with them long after the lessons end.
"Music is enough for a lifetime β but a lifetime is not nearly enough for music."Sergei Rachmaninoff

A studio's life measured not in marketing numbers β but in the rhythm of a routine that never broke. Through every change, even a pandemic, our annual student concert has run uninterrupted.
Every summer, our students take the stage at Music for the Young β our annual recital where beginners and advanced players alike perform for family, friends and fellow musicians.
It's where months of practice meet real performance experience. Past editions have featured Harry Potter medleys, Disney favourites, classical concertos, and chamber ensembles.
Beyond the studio, Wei Ping performs regularly as concertmaster of major Singapore orchestras, in chamber ensembles, and as the L.O.V.E Duo with Dihui. A glimpse below β more on our channels.

Ms Tan is the best piano teacher I have come across so far. Handling young children requires lots of patience and love β and Ms Tan has it all. She handles the temperament of my 5-year-old child beautifully, firm yet effective in scaffolding her growth. Her dedicated studio has two pianos β she demonstrates on one while my child plays on the other.
I was one of Ms Tan's adult students. I initially hesitated because of my age β yet she encouraged me with sincere words and favourable suggestions. She did not disappoint with her expertise: her teaching is positive, encouraging, and full of passion, not for profit. There's no "sales-talk" along the lessons. I would definitely recommend her.
"Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything."Plato
